Family Literacy
Family Literacy programs offer parents an opportunity to increase their education and employability skills while learning to support their child's development. These programs provide integrated components to the family. Interactive literacy activities between parents and their child are combined with an age-appropriate education to prepare the child for success in school and life experiences. Parent literacy training leads to economic self-sufficiency and help towards earning a high school diploma. Training is available to assist parents in becoming their child's primary teacher and full partners in the education of their child. For additional information, contact 301-753-1774.
