Flower Name: Red Clover

Description: Clover has a round flowerhead made of many tiny florets. The colors are red, pink, yellow and white. The leaves have 3 leaflets with toothed edges and is marked in some species with a lighter green triangle on the top. A few western species have as many as 6 or 7 leaflets. They grow from 8 inches to 2 feet high.

Flowering Time: Late spring to early fall

Habitat: Open fields, meadows, roadsides and lawns

Range: They grow all over the country.
