The Career Academies are designed to provide the students of Henry E. Lackey High School with more direction, focus and preparation for the future.

The Academies and Pathways are centered around possible careers. An Academy is the title used to identify an area of interest.  Within each academy there are several pathways.  The pathways are the specific areas of interest for students. Related pathways are grouped into the same academy.  Each pathway has a list of possible occupations as well as suggested courses that students should take in order to prepare for the future.  Henry E. Lackey High School is offering 5 academies and 12 pathways.

Students should enroll in a pathway of interest at the end of their freshman year and use the High School Program of Studies to select courses which are aligned with the pathway.
