Education Week
American Education Week will be held
during the week of November 12. Grandparents/VIP
are invited to visit the classrooms
from 9:30-11:00 on Friday, November 16. Please sign in at the main office
and get a visitor’s pass. Mary McLeod Bethune, American Educator, said,
“My family believed in the public schools because they believed in the
community. They believed that the most important thing was in your head. You
become a worthwhile person, and a member of the community.” We hope you
can join us in our celebration of American Education Week. Students Gain Art
Awards The following students were winners in art at the county fair. 1st place-Courtney Johnson, Ronald Contreras 3rd place-Brooklin King, Kalel Bennett, Brandon
Porter Honorable Mention-Tess Franch First Quarter
Awards Recognition Students in grades 1-5 will be recognized
in the areas of Academics, Attendance, and Personal Responsibility on Monday,
November 19. Teachers will inform you via invitation if your child will be
receiving an award on that day. Award Assemblies times are as follows: Grade 1 10:00 Grade 2 10:30 Grade 3 11:00 Grade 4 2:00 Grade 5 2:30 Math Night Promises
to Be a Big Night We hope that you have signed up for the
Math Night scheduled for Monday, November 5. Dinner will be served at 6:00,
and then parents and their children will get an opportunity to learn about
how to improve in math. We hope to see you there. This year, we are again entering the Kaleb Bennett,
