Transportation
STI students at North Point must
register for transportation between August 1 and August 10. All
students must register even if they will submit "no bus needed."

Morning Transportation Options
Option 1 (Traditional)
- Students can ride a bus from a currently
established stop for the high school zone in which they reside.
Once the bus arrives at McDonough, Westlake, Thomas Stone, La
Plata, or Lackey, a shuttle bus will be waiting to transport the
students to NPHS.
Option 2 (Express)
- Students can choose to ride an express bus
route that goes directly to NPHS. These stops are designed to
provide direct transportation to NPHS. Parents will be responsible
to get students to and from designated pick up points along the
express routes.

- Students can be dropped off at NPHS.
Afternoon/Evening Transportation Options
Option
1
- Students can ride an express bus to the elementary
school zone in which he or she resides and transfer to an elementary
bus, be picked up, or walk home.
Option
2
- Students can ride an express bus to a specific
neighborhood indicated on the established express routes.

3
- Student can be picked up at NPHS.
Activity Bus Schedule
for the Zoned students:
NOTE: Activity Bus runs begin the
first day of school, August 27, 2007. Routes run everyday that schools
are open for students. On Early Dismissal Days routes run as usual
and pick up times at schools remain the same as a normal school
day. Times are not adjusted due to an early dismissal, unless the
school administration directs you to do so.
In the event of an early dismissal
due to inclement weather Activity Buses are cancelled for that day.
