8th Grade News and Information
Ms. Matthews and Ms. Langston would like to thank all of those students who purchased an 8th grade class t-shirt. As we approach the end of the third marking period, we are strongly encouraging all parents of our 8th graders to continue to check the agendas. Remember to look for the stamp(s) of teacher(s) whose work was not completed or turned in by your child. Each teacher uses a different stamp color. We are finding that many of our students are starting to slack off and are in a sense of thinking that they have already been promoted. We still have quite a few days to go before we can say “Well done.”
Continue to check Parent@School for posted homework and grades. This is a valuable resource when you are trying to keep track of class events and/or assignments. Keep in mind that it is the responsibility of the student to write down class assignments in their agendas every day.
Students, you have a lot of work to do. Please keep in mind that you are to treat others with respect and bullying will not be allowed. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS. We are expecting you to rise to the occasion. FOCUS, STAY ON TASK and remember, YOU ARE GOING TO THE NEXT LEVEL… SUCCESS IS YOUR ONLY OPTION.
