Mrs. Kim McClarin was named principal at Theodore G. Davis Middle School in 2015. Mrs. McClarin began her career with Charles County Public Schools in 2007 as a vice principal at North Point High School, for Science, Technology and Industry, where she served for eight school years. She began her teaching career in 2000 in Broward County, Fla. as a reading and language arts teacher at Lauderhill Middle School. Prior to joining CCPS, Mrs. McClarin was a teacher at F.C. Hammond Middle School in Alexandria, Va. 

Mrs. McClarin has a bachelor's degree in communication studies from Morgan State University and a Master of Science in educational leadership and administration from Trinity University. As principal, Mrs. McClarin looks forward to working with students, staff, parents, and the community to ensure that all students are S.O.A.R.R-ing to Excellence and are college and career ready.

Mrs. Huffman has been a vice-principal at Davis Middle School since 2017. She taught Family and Consumer Sciences at North Point High School for eight years, from 2009 until 2017. Mrs. Huffman earned a bachelor's degree in Home Economics and Family Studies from Miami University, a master's degree in Special Education from Western Governor's University, and completed post-master's certification coursework in Educational Leadership and Administration at American Public University.

During her time in Charles County Public Schools, Mrs. Huffman has sponsored SGA, developed an academic peer mentorship program, designed and sewn costumes for numerous school plays,  and advised student engagement clubs.

   
KevinReisinger Kevin Reisinger

Mr. Reisinger has been a vice-principal at Theodore G. Davis Middle School since 2018. Prior to working at Davis, he was Vice Principal at McDonough High School from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, Mr. Reisinger has served as an Administrative Assistant and Business Education teacher at North Point High School for nine years.

Originally from the Cleveland, Ohio area, Mr. Reisinger joined Charles County Public Schools as a teacher in 2005. During his career, Mr. Reisinger has coached golf and both winter and spring seasons of track and field. He currently serves on the MPSSAA Committees for Indoor and Outdoor Track.

Mr. Reisinger holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University and a master's degree in education from American Public University.
   
  Keisha Rock
Vice Principal

Ms. Rock is a recent transplant to the area and is a vice-principal at Theodore G. Davis Middle School as of fall 2018. Prior to this, she was an assistant principal at Cary High School in Cary, NC from 2011 to 2018. Ms. Rock has been in the field of education for 15 years; before she transitioned into school administration, she served as a middle school counselor, cheerleading coach, and coached softball.
 
Originally from Brooklyn NY, Ms. Rock attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC where she received her bachelor's in Political Science, master's in School Counseling and add-on licensure in School Administration. 
 
Ms. Rock's hobbies include whipping up native Barbadian dishes, traveling, and arts & crafts. Her favorite quote is, "Be the change you want to see in the world", and she lives by that as she strives to impact the lives of each student that she encounters.

  Lamont Shipley
Administrative Intern

Mr. Shipley has been a administive intern at Theodore G. Davis Middle School since the fall of 2018. Prior to joining the Davis team Mr. Shipley was a 6th grade team leader and middle school math teacher in Prince George's County Public Schools. In the early stages of Mr. Shipley's educational career he was an elementary school teacher and the coordinator of Head Start programs at 5 DC Public School campuses. This will be Mr. Shipley's 10th year in the field of education.

A native of New Jersey, Mr. Shipley was the first in his family to take the traditional path to college after watching his mother, a former high school dropout, attend night school to earn her bachelors degree, masters degree and ultimately her Ph.D. Following his mother's example Mr. Shipley has earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, a master’s degree in urban studies from the University of Maryland and his administration certification from Notre Dame of Maryland University.

Mr. Shipley's lives by the words of Dr. Benjamin Elijah Mays, "It is must be borne in mind that the tragedy of life does not lie in not reaching your goals. The tragedy lies in having no goals to reach... It is not a disgrace to reach for the stars but it is a disgrace to have no stars to reach for... Not failure, but low aim is the sin." Mr. Shipley motivates students to dream as if their dreams are already a reality and to persist as if their goals and dreams were reserved for them.
