Looking to challenge your creativity? The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is the place for you to explore your ideas! During April, students who have passed their art class with a “B” or better and demonstrated good citizenship may join upon their teacher’s invitation. The application requires a simple essay. Members meet during PRIDE Time in Mrs. Baker's room, A601B, and design projects enriching the school and public communities. Student members create murals, scarecrows, holiday cards, painted plastic eggs, and much more! Furthermore, many of these endeavors raise profits for causes such as the American Cancer Society in order to benefit others beyond La Plata High School. The National Art Honor Society is the place for you to use your artistic abilities to assist the community!
