Welcome to Maurice J. Parent Teacher Organization Needs Your Help!

Attention McDonough High School community! McDonough HS has open positions in our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) for the 2017-2018 SY.  One of the main objectives of the PTO is to establish a home-school partnership that will bring about a spirit of cooperation in the education of our students.  The positions up for nomination are PTO president, vice president, secretary, and treasure.  Please contact Mr. Deegan at This email address is being protected from spambots. ParentVUE Activation Codes Available

ParentVUE Activation letters are available in the Main Office from 7:00AM-3:00PM everyday.  Each parent with educational rights will have an activation code to view their children's student information (one code to view all his/her children).  Parents may view student schedule, immunization record, address, demographics, and school information. 

Additionally, parents must show a driver's license or other government-issued ID to school staff to obtain their activation key letters.  Only parents displaying and ID will receive an activation letter.

College Fair is Coming!

The College Fair of Charles County will take place on Monday, September 18th from 6:00-8:00PM in the Convocation Center at North Point High School.  Over 100 colleges are scheduled to attend and a financial aid workshop will take place from 6:15-7:15PM in the auditorium.  Our Juniors and Seniors will attend a session during the school day with a signed permission slip (to be returned to Ms. Welch by September 12th).  All of RAM Nation is encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity provided by Charles County Public Schools.  Please contact Ms. Welch in the Career Center via email at This email address is being protected from spambots.
