Mustang Nation Parent Teacher Organization

Mission Statement

We, the J.C. Parks Parent Teacher Organization are a nonprofit parent teacher organization (PTO) whose mission is to institute and sustain a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students. We aim to provide evolving opportunities within the home, school, and community. We provide assistance to teachers within the classroom setting, raise funds for educational materials and experiences, advocate school and family social interaction and provide an unbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our students. It is our belief that it is the team effort of a parent teacher organization that assist staff in providing the best possible learning environment for our children.

 

Goals and Objectives

Goals and objectives of the J.C. Parks Elementary Parent Teacher Organization:

  •  The officers of J.C. Parks Parent Teacher Organization will uphold Their positions as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer and will respectfully serve as representatives of the members of the PTO organization and the greater school community.
  •   Promote communication between students, faculty, and parents.
  •  Foster and enhance the educational environment.
  •  Implement strategies to build better relationships by meeting the needs of our students.
  •  Recruit volunteers and coordinate volunteer efforts for programs and projects that support and enrich the curriculum and educational goals for J.C. Parks Elementary.
  •  Create and cultivate a sense of community amongst J.C. Parks Elementary.
