Summer Enrichment Camps
Summer Enrichment Camps are for Charles County Public School enrolled students and residents of Charles County in grades kindergarten through nine, according to the student's 2017 - 2018 school year grade level.
Camps are offered in the
AM (8:30 to 11:30) and PM (12:30 to
3:30). Students staying for AM and PM
camp sessions can be enrolled in the Lunch
Activity Time session (11:30 AM to 12:30
$10/wk. The Lunch Activity Time Session includes free lunch and supervision between
Cost per camp session is $90.00 per week and financial assistance is available for students who qualify. Contact Rebecca LaRoque at 301-934-7369 or email@example.com. Some camps require an extra fee to cover the cost of materials.
Space is limited for each camp. Camps that have low enrollment may be cancelled with a refund. Camp schedule is subject to change. Please check this webpage for updates.
Notification must be made 2 weeks prior to the start of camp for a full refund. $5 non-refundable, processing fee for all cancellations.
Camps for first through ninth grade will be offered at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School, 2040 St. Thomas Drive, Waldorf, MD.
Camps for Kindergarten will be held at Mary B. Neal Elementary School*, 12105 St. Georges Drive, Waldorf, MD.
The International Cooking & Baking Camp and the Summer Chef Academy for grades six through eight will be held at Westlake High School**, 3300 Middletown Road, Waldorf, MD.

Nanjemoy Creek Adventure Camp
Nanjemoy Creek Environmental Education Center
June 19, 2017 - June 23, 2017
Nanjemoy Creek Adventure Camp is designed for
students entering sixth through eighth
grade, who are interested in
participating in exciting and challenging
outdoor activities. Campers participate in
initiative and confidence activities which are
designed to promote teamwork, creative problem
solving, and self-confidence. Campers have the
opportunity to develop skills in canoeing,
bird watching, fishing, and astronomy. Once they
have mastered basic canoeing skills, they will
have a chance to canoe on Nanjemoy Creek. The
camp is designed to promote environmental
stewardship by teaching campers how to observe,
understand, enjoy, and respect nature.

The Summer Youth Camp for boys and girls provides supervised activities in the following areas: soccer, touch football, basketball, floor hockey, swimming, kickball, arts and crafts, whiffle ball and other games.

Before care $10 per day- begins at 7 AM
Camp includes sessions at the St. Charles High School indoor pool and alternative activities for non-swimmers.
Students bring a lunch and swimmers bring a
towel and swim suit.
