*Our class will be participating in the “Book It” Reading program. The students will be assigned a project for each month, which will be counted as a reading grade.

*This month’s project is yet to be announced.

* Tuesday folders will be sent home every Tuesday. Please review the contents of the folder and return the papers in the folder on Wednesday that you have chosen together to go into your child’s portfolio at school. Also, make sure to sign off on the checklist where I note your child’s progress every week!

*Please encourage your child to dress for success! Students earn quarterly incentives for participating. Students can wear a white, navy, or khaki shirt with navy or khaki bottoms.

*Please monitor your child’s nightly reading and initial their reading log after completion every evening. Reading logs are due at the end of each month and are part of their reading grade.
