Each day your child will be bringing home their agenda book where they will be recording their homework. Please initial in the agenda book for that day after your child has finished his/her required homework. Hopefully, that square should have a stamp/sticker/star showing that your child followed the rules and tried their hardest. If your child does not receive a stamp, I will indicate in their planner the number of card changes your child received, with a note.

Our Class Expectations

1. Follow directions and always show the 3 R’s (Respect, Responsibility & Right to Learn).

2. Be respectful of yourself and others.

3. Stay in your seat and wait to be called on.

5. Come to class prepared!

6. Always give 100% effort!

Behavior Plan

1. Home Plate – You’re safe!

2. Strike 1 - 5 minutes off recess.

3. Strike 2 - 10 minutes off recess and reflection completed by student at recess.

4. Strike 3 – 15 minutes off recess and call/note home to parents.

Incentive Plan

“Caught Being Good” tickets are given to students who go above and beyond during the day. At the end of the week, I will draw two tickets from the Bucket of Positives and those students will get to go to the treasure box in class!

We will begin a new program shortly where we will be noting compliments that we receive from adults as a class. When the compliment jar gets filled, we’ll have a class party!
