Tiger Woods influenced many young people by becoming the first African -American to win a professional golf tour. He was also the youngest. Although he made his biggest impact in the United States he is known the world over. Not only is he a good golfer on the course, he is a great person off. When he was young he always went to the golf course with his father. He first appeared on TV when he was two to show everyone his golf skills. Before 1997 Tiger was not allowed to golf professionally, when he finally did golf he blew everyone away.

He is truly not another face in the crowd. He has helped many underprivileged children by teaching them to golf and giving them other things to do. He even has his own club for kids called "Club Tiger".
