Homework

***Homework is very
important. Homework is meant to
reinforce what we have been learning.
If your child is struggling please let me know. Homework should only take your child
around 30 minutes. Every night (Monday
through Thursday) your child will have math and reading/spelling. I will let
you know if there is no homework for that night.*** |

****Please make sure
that your child is reading every night. Your child can read to themselves, to
you, or you can read to them. Please
record the books that your child reads on the Reading Record Sheet. This
sheet is located in your child’s agenda book. Each time your child reads 5
books they will be able to put a leaf or apple cutout on our reading tree.
When they have five leaves or apples on the tree, they will receive an
incentive. Some of the incentives are: having lunch with me, picking from the
prize box, or receiving a free homework coupon. |
