Behavior Policy
I have
high expectations regarding appropriate classroom and school behavior. If a child is disruptive or disrespectful, it
takes away vital instructional time from the rest of the students in the class,
and will not be tolerated.
Matula is implementing a school-wide behavior
incentive program this year. Students
receive a M.A.G.I.C. ticket when
they are exhibiting appropriate classroom / school behaviors. (The 3 R’s : Respect, Responsibility and the Right to
Learn) When students earn 10 M.A.G.I.C.
tickets they will personalize a star, which will be displayed around our
doorway. Each week, a student from each
grade level will be selected at random to earn a special treat or priviledge!
