Mrs. Kristen Lednum

Hi! I am Kristen Lednum.  I grew up in Caroline County, Maryland and attended Preston Elementary School and Colonel Richardson Middle and High School.  I attended Salisbury State University (now called Salisbury University) and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education.  In August 2004, I received my Master's of Education from S.U. with a track in Learning and Teaching With Technology.  In 2008, I earned my National Board Certification.  I am one of only 21 teachers in the county with this certification.  This is my eleventh year teaching elementary school.

My family and I moved to Waldorf in June 2004.  I am very excited to be a part of the William B. Wade family.  I have a wonderful husband Lance, who is a Geoscientist for Boeing and two beautiful children.  Alyssa Madison is 11 years old and Nathaniel Kenneth is 7 years old.  We also have dog named Tulip and a cat named Pampers.
