Accelerated Reader

                                             Yes, we upgraded our Accelerated Reader program to                                             the web based version called AR Enterprise and it is up and running. AR Enterprise is a web based program that gives the students access to over 100,000 quizzes and any new quiz that is published!  So, this means students could
read books not only from the school library, from the public library, from home – from anywhere - and take quizzes on them! This is a wonderful program that has encouraged our students to read a variety of books and checked their comprehension by taking
brief comprehensive quizzes on the computer at school. Our teachers and students
have been trained on the changes with the new program and a parent letter was sent home at the end of November to explain this program.  Each classroom teacher will individualize this program to fit the needs of their classroom and students. Teachers
will establish guidelines and goals for their class which may be different from other classes in their grade level.  This program is used as supplement to our wonderful reading program here at Wade. This new program gives our students access to over 100,00 quizzes and so much more! We are very exciting to implement this awesome program and hope that it encourages all of our wonderful readers to reach their
greatest reading potential!
