This course provides student with the keyboarding skills necessary for the efficient use of a microcomputer.  Students will become proficient in the use of the touch method while learning to use word processing software.  Upon completion of this course, students will be able to format a variety of personal, academic, and business documents including letters, tables, applications, newsletters, and reports.  Students are also introduced to other computer applications, such as spreadsheets, databases, and the Internet.  Basic computer terminology and concepts are explored.
