Fitness Components Poster

 

 

Directions:  Using poster board, design a poster displaying examples of each Fitness component. Include one picture for each component. You may get pictures from magazines, Internet or software. Each picture must be labeled with the correct fitness component. The size of the poster should be 18 X 24.

 

Remember:  There are 11 fitness components:

 

Five (5) Health-related:  Cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, body composition, muscular strength and muscular endurance.

 

Six (6) Skill-related:  Reaction time, speed, agility, power, balance and coordination.

 

Grading Procedure: If you DO NOT complete this assignment your grade will drop at least one full letter grade.

 

 

Point System

 

 

_________  22 points – One picture for each fitness component. You must have 11 pictures that are appropriate.

 

_________  22 points – All pictures are labeled with the correct fitness component.

 

_________  20 points – Appearance: all pictures are glued down and are not falling off. Poster board does not have folds or creases in it. Used an 18 X 24 poster board.

 

_________   6 points – This paper is stapled or paper clipped to the poster board.
