Drawing/Design
The first semester of this course will develop drawing techniques and concepts in a variety of media. Refinement of perceptual skills through written/oral critique of students and instructor, along with development of an expressive style, will be emphasized. Different applications of design will be explored as they relate to historical and cultural perspectives.
