Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) today announces two additional administrative appointments for the 2025-26 school year. The appointments take effect July 1.
Christopher McAllister, an administrative intern at Milton M. Somers Middle School, has been appointed as an assistant principal at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School.
David Simmons, an administrative intern at St. Charles High School, has been appointed as an assistant principal at St. Charles.
Both appointments fill vacancies that have occurred since the May 13, 2025, announcement of administrative appointments for next school year.
Additionally, CCPS is in the process of interviewing a replacement for Kevin Jackson, Sr., principal at Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer Elementary School. Jackson recently announced his retirement from CCPS, effective June 30.
