CCPS College Fair is Oct. 8

High school juniors and seniors who attend Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) will have the opportunity Oct. 8 to learn more about colleges, universities and other post-graduate opportunities at the CCPS College Fair.

Held at North Point High School, CCPS students will attend the fair as a field trip during the day, while non-CCPS students and parents are invited to visit the fair from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 8. Financial aid workshops led by a representative of the College of Southern Maryland (CSM) are set for 6:15 and 7:15 p.m. and CCPS staff will be available to assist families with FSA ID. FSA ID is a username and password combination that serves as the legal signature for students applying for federal student aid.

More than 80 colleges and universities will be represented at the fair, alongside technical schools and the U.S. military. College and career advisors at schools are coordinating permission forms. The advisors can also answer students’ questions about post-graduate plans. To learn more about college and career centers, click here.

North Point is at 2500 Davis Road in Waldorf.
