Middle school teams compete in volleyball tournament

Seventh- and eighth-grade students set up earlier this month for middle school volleyball tournaments.

Seventh-grade girls played at Henry E. Lackey High School Jan. 23, with seventh-grade boys having a tournament on the same day at La Plata High School. On Jan. 25, eighth-grade girls took to the court at Lackey with eighth-grade boys playing at La Plata. Seven Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) middle schools participated in the tournament.

Middle school students can participate in different activities throughout the year including a golf tournament, archery contest and basketball tournament.
