Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Application

Parent Approval Required

High school students will be able to use a personal laptop or tablet device during the school day. A cell phone is not an approved device for use with BYOD. While participation in BYOD is completely voluntary, students will be required to obtain parent approval to participate in BYOD. Students and parents will have to agree to the terms of use for BYOD, and they will need to submit an application to gain access for the entire school year.

BYOD Application

Students must open the application while logged into their StudentVue account, so it links to their student ID. The application requires the student agree to the terms of using a personal device on our BYOD network and provide information on the device that will be used. Once submitted, an email will be sent to the email of the parent/guardian on file in Synergy. The parent or guardian will have the opportunity to approve the request and will then receive email confirmation of the approval. CCPS technology staff will then coordinate the rest of the process, including collecting CCPS devices and granting BYOD access.
