June 24 - August 8
Monday - Thursday

Lunch on Us is offering a free lunch program for all children and youth ages 18 and younger who live in Charles County.

Lunch On Us will be provided this year at eight school sites that have been chosen based on past site participation, need, and geographical location.

  • Hot Meals will be provided for any children attending ages 2 to 18.
  • Children must consume meals onsite, and may not take meals to go or share with adults not eligible for the program.
  • Meals will be served through the cafeteria serving line and consumed in the cafeteria.
  • Meals are not limited to CCPS students, and no identification is necessary to obtain a meal, as the child must be present.
  • Meal sites will be open during times listed below for meal service.
  • Supervision will be provided by FNS staff from the start of meal service until last meal served is consumed.

Meals on the Move

June 25 - August 8
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Cold breakfast and lunch will be provided for multiple days per child at each site from the CCPS FNS Food Truck. Note that child must be present, or ID of child must be provided for meals to be obtained.

Meals on the Move is a new CCPS summer meals program. It is a non-congregate (grab and go) meal service approved recently by the USDA for designated rural areas.

  • At these sites, children will be provided with breakfast and lunch for multiple days.
  • Children must be present, or parents will be required to present identification of a child ages 2–18. This can be in the form of a student ID or birth certificate.
  • All children will be eligible for these meals, it is not restricted to CCPS students.
  • Meals will be distributed from our “Meals On the Move” food truck.
