2023-24 School Year

The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Center for Immunization has released vaccination requirements for the 2023-24 school year. All Charles County Public Schools students are required to have certain vaccinations prior to attending school. REQUIRED VACCINATIONS
3's Program & Pre-K (24-59 months old) 4 DTaP/DTP/DT 3 Polio 1 Hib - at least one dose after 12 months of age 1 MMR on or after first birthday 1 Varicella on or after first birthday 3 Hepatitis B 1 Prevnar (PCV)	older Pre-K (60-71 months old) 4 DTaP/DTP/DT 3 Polio 2 MMR – after the first birthday 1 Varicella – after the first birthday 3 Hepatitis B
Kindergarten (5-11 years old) 3 or 4 DTaP/DTP/Tdap/DT/Td 3 Polio 2 MMR on or after first birthday 2 Varicella (Chickenpox) on or after first birthday 3 Hepatitis B	Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 3 or 4 DTaP/DTP/DT 3 Polio 2 MMR 2 Varicella 3 Hepatitis B
