Childcare Providers

The CCPS Title I Office is excited to develop partnerships with childcare providers who operate in our Title I school zones. Through this partnership, we strive to support Early Childhood programs, assist in the EXCELS program, provide learning resources, and offer parent training for families. We are currently offering free training for all Childcare Providers operating in Title I school zones aimed at building professional knowledge and providing Core of Knowledge credits in the MD EXCELS program. 

Childcare Providers' Workshop

The next childcare providers' class, Imagineering in the Classroom, will be held virtually on March 22, 2023, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Participants will receive 3 hours of Core of Knowledge in the area of Child Development.  In this workshop we will look at strategies and materials which you can use to support children’s innate creative ability and imagination while they explore engineering in the classroom.
