Dual Language, Two-Way Immersion at Arthur Middleton Elementary School

Students living in the Arthur Middleton Elementary School Zone

Arthur Middleton Elementary School hosts a Dual Language, Two-Way Immersion program. Attendance at Middleton is based on Superintendent Rule 5128. Students may be required to demonstrate proficiency in Spanish depending on their grade and home language in order to participate successfully in the program. Students who do not meet Spanish proficiency criteria will be placed at either Dr. Samuel Mudd Elementary School or Dr. Gustavus Brown Elementary School. Placement at either school has been predetermined by domicile. Transportation is provided for students in the Middleton zone who are assigned to attend Brown or Mudd.

Students attending Arthur Middleton Elementary School by Lottery Enrollment

Students attending the Dual Language, Two-Way Immersion program at Middleton who live outside of the Middleton zone and are enrolled via lottery do NOT receive transportation. Parents/guardians must provide daily, on-time transportation to and from Middleton as part of the lottery enrollment agreement.
