Where can I access Distance Learning Bundles?
Distance Learning Bundles can be accessed through the www.ccboe.com website or can be picked up at the food distribution sites between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

If my child is finding the material too easy or too hard, can I use a different grade level?
Yes. Contact your child’s teacher. The teacher may recommend that you use the grade level above or below, based on your child’s needs. You may only want to do this for one subject area. Be sure to communicate and get permission from your child’s teacher.

What do I do if I do not have internet access?
All distance Learning Bundles are available in paper copies.

What type of portfolio am I expected to have my child turn in for accountability?
CCPS is requiring all students to keep a portfolio to show that they have accessed and participated with the Distance Learning Bundles. Students are required to keep artifacts/papers from each learning bundle to show that learning occurred.

How often will I turn in the portfolio?
The due date is being determined by the Maryland State Department of Education. CCPS is awaiting for further instructions from the State Superintendent.

My child’s teacher is sending additional activities to complete. Is this mandatory?
No, the expectation is to complete the county provided lessons and activities. Any additional tasks are optional.

My child is struggling with the materials. Where can they go for help?
Contact your child’s teacher. All teachers have office hours Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Please contact them through their Charles County email.

What if my child has special needs or is an English Learner, will there be a separate Learning Bundle for him/her?
Yes. There will be separate supplemental Learning Bundles for special needs and EL students in the near future. Your child’s teacher will contact you when these resources are available online and in paper copy at the lunch distribution sites.
