Health Alert: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Maryland public school systems are closed through Friday, April 24 in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

During the closure, Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is offering free meals to all children 18 and younger,  online learning resources to keep students connected to school and mental health resources for parents.

The Starkey Building switchboard is closed beginning Friday, March 20.  AskCCPS is a help-desk available for students, staff, parents and the community to ask a question or request technology assistance.

Meals for children
Effective March 31,  meal distribution sites can provide parents food without their child being present. Click the link above for the all the details about the food distribution sites.

Online Instructional Resources
Click the link above for fun and engaging activities to help students stay connected to school.  Resources are divided into three collections – elementary, middle and high – and include appropriate resources by grade level. The General Resources collection contains videos and instruction guides on how to access the resources that require a student to log in to a website.
