National Board Certification
CCPS teachers and specialists who hold a Standard Professional or Advanced Professional Certificate and have completed a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience in Charles County on a Maryland professional certificate are eligible to apply for National Board Certification (NBC). Candidates are screened by a CCPS review committee to determine who will represent the school system in the 2019-2020 application cycle. To be considered as a CCPS candidate, applicants must submit a completed information packet to Nikial Majors, executive director of human resources, by 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 7.  Click the link above for more information.

2019 EACC Annual Crab Feast

  • Tickets are available for purchase ONLINE ONLY from May 1 - Aug 23
  • Early Ticket Price: $25 until June 25
  • Ticket Price after June 25: $35
  • Admission includes all you can eat: crabs, hot dogs, hamburgers & sides
  • Draft beer will be sold for $1 (max 4)
  • All tickets sales must be purchased ONLINE ONLY by Aug. 23 (NO TICKET SALES at the EACC office)
  • Each employee may bring 1 guest who is not a CCPS employee.  Guest must enter the crab feast with CCPS employee.  No Will Call.
  • You must have your CCPS ID & your ticket to enter the Crab Feast
  • Anyone entering the Crab Feast must be 21 years or older
