Charles County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee (SECAC)
The Charles County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee is organized to provide a forum for issues pertaining to children with special education needs. Our members advocate at the county, state, and national level to make recommendations and assist the Charles County Public Schools about issues including the education budget, inclusion assessments, support services, and other issues concerning children and special education and related services.
SECAC Monthly Meetings
SECAC is a group that enables the Director of Special Education to seek meaningful input from parents, community partners, service providers, and school administrators on local issues relative to the provision of a free and appropriate public education and the achievement of students with disabilities.
WE NEED YOUR INPUT
SECAC will be meeting beginning in September. The meeting will be in a hybrid platform. If you would like to participate, please come to the F.B. Gwynn Center at 6:30pm on the dates shown or register via zoom.
