Verniece Rorie

Mrs. Verniece Rorie was named principal at Gale-Bailey Elementary School in 2015. Prior to serving as principal at Gale-Bailey, Rorie served as principal at Walter J. Mitchell Elementary School for four years. She began her teaching career in Fairfax County Public Schools. Her educational experience there included teaching special education students from elementary school through high school, and the design and implementation of intervention programs.

Her administrative experience also began with Fairfax County Public Schools, and includes elementary and middle school experiences. Rorie began her career with Charles County Public Schools in 2005 as a vice principal at Mitchell. She holds degrees from Oral Roberts University, The George Washington University and Virginia Tech.

Timothy Rosin

Mr. Timothy Rosin was appointed as vice principal at Gale-Bailey Elementary School in 2018.  Prior to serving as vice principal at Gale-Bailey, Rosin served over two decades as principal at C. Paul Barnhart ES, Mary H. Matula ES and Indian Head ES.  He began his teaching career in Prince William County Public Schools and taught in both special education and general classrooms before serving as vice principal with that system for five years.  He earned his Masters of Education Degree in School Administration from George Mason University in 1990 and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Michigan State University in 1983.
