What is the Infants and Toddlers Program?
Services are provided to infants and toddlers, birth through 3 years, who may be delayed in development or have disabilities.  This program is a family-centered approach to assist families with an eligible infant or toddler to obtain services for themselves and their child.  Services may vary with the need of the child and family.

Who is eligible?
To become eligible for the program, your child must possess the following:

  • Functioning at least 25% below his or her chronological age in cognitive, physical (includes vision and hearing), communication and adaptive development.
  • They have a diagnosed condition, physical or mental, that has a high probability of resulting in developmental delays.
  • They manifest atypical development or behavior that is demonstrated abnormal quality of performance and function in one or more of the developmental areas.


What do services cost?
Services are provided at no cost to families.


What types of services are offered?
Services will vary with the needs of the child and their family.  The types of services which may be provided include:

  • Case Management
  • Audiology
  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech-Language Pathology
  • Parent Coaching
  • Home Visits
  • Special Instruction
