Community College Scholarship

Deadline: September 30, 2020
Award Amount: $5,000

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the United States (excluding Rhode Island, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands) who are at least 16 years of age. Applicants for this scholarship should be enrolled at a public community college, junior college, technical college, or city college, and working towards a certificate, diploma, or degree at the associate’s level or a first-time bachelor’s level.

 

Military Scholarship

Award Amount: $5,000

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the United States (excluding Rhode Island, Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands) who are at least 16 years of age. Must also be a veteran, active military, or family member of a deceased veteran or active military member.

Eligibility: Applicant must be currently enrolled in college or as a senior in high school, and have a minimum GPA of 3.6.

 

CAP Essay Scholarship

 Deadline:  October 2, 2020

Awards: Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

Eligibility: Essay contest for middle and high school aged students. 

Winner will be notified on October 9th and will be able to present their winning essay at CAP's Virtual Town Hall on October 15th! 

 

AES Engineering Scholarship

Deadline: October 5, 2020
Award Amount: $500
Eligibility: Applicants must be a high school senior OR a student attending a post-secondary educational facility. Applicants are not required to be taking engineering courses to be eligible.

 

Black Students in Tech Grant

Deadline: October 11, 2020
Award Amount: $1,000
Eligibility: Applicant must be a Black student or recent graduate at any education level or field of study who is pursuing or who plans to pursue a career in the tech industry.

 

Olin E. Teague Scholarship

Deadline: October 12, 2020
Award Amount: $4,000
Eligibility: The applicant must be a U.S. Citizen; a senior year high school student with the intent of attending an accredited U.S. college or university in the Fall of 2020; and plan to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies in anaerospace field.

 

NSCA High School Scholarship

Deadline: October 15, 2020
Award Amount: $2,000
Eligibility: Applicant must be a senior in high school with a GPA of 3.0+ and will be attending college in the fall following high school graduation. Must also be a current member of the NSCA and plan on majoring in the strength and conditioning field.

 

American Truck Students Scholarships

 Deadline: October 15, 2020
Award Amount: $2,500
Eligibility: Application open students who meet one of the following criteria: 
Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited United States technical institute, 2/4 year college/university with program in construction management, secondary votech school or tuition bearing apprenticeship program in the traditional building trades(e.g. carpentry, HVAC, electrical or related fields of study). Students pursuing certificate programs or apprenticeship programs are welcome to apply.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarships

Deadline: October 30, 2020

Awards:varies, maximum up to $40,000 per year

Eligible: Seniors Criteria: Must enroll in 4- year college beginning fall, GPA 3.5+, SAT combined score of 1200+ on Critical Reading & Math and/or ACT composite of 26 or above
