Help the AVID program get FREE supplies!

The MHS AVID program is participating in the Office Depot ink & toner recycling program!  Here’s how it works: Drop off old/used ink and toner cartridges from your home or office printer(s) in the box located in the main office. Once the boxes are full, it will be sent to Office Depot for recycling and a voucher to use in ordering supplies for the AVID program!  It's that simple!

Parent Teacher Organization Needs Your Help!

Attention McDonough High School community! We have open positions in our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) for this school year.  One of the main objectives of the PTO is to establish a home-school partnership that will bring about a spirit of cooperation in the education of our students.  The positions up for nomination are PTO president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.  Please contact Mr. Deegan at or 301-753-1755 if interested in one of these positions.

ParentVUE Activation Letters Available!

ParentVUE Activation letters are available in the Main Office from 7:00AM-3:00PM everyday.  Each parent with educational rights will have an activation code to view their children's student information (one code to view all his/her children).  Parents may view student schedule, immunization record, address, demographics, and school information.

Additionally, parents must show a driver's license or other government-issued ID to school staff to obtain their activation key letters.

If you have any questions regarding how to obtain your activation letter, please feel free to call the school at 301-753-1755.
