Job Shadow Day

Students will have the opportunity to job shadow ONCE on Friday, February 15, 2019. Your child is responsible for securing his or her individual work site as well as transportation to and from the job shadowing site. A typical job shadow experience includes an exploration of the aspects of an occupation. This activity should include discussing a typical work day, exploring different aspects of working in a particular career, and talking about skills learned in school that apply to the world of work.

In order to participate in this activity and have an excused absence, students must return a completed and signed Parent/Guardian/Teacher/Business Consent form by Tuesday, February 12, 2019.  Forms may be found in the Main Office or by clicking here.  Also, please look at and review the Charles County Job Shadow School Resource Tool Kit which can be found here.  If you have any questions, please reach out to either Mr. Scott (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) or Mr. Lush (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
