The Student Interventions Program Coordinator is responsible for the oversight of the following programs:
- Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- All Charles County Public Schools are PBIS schools. Each school uses the PBIS format to support research-based interventions to help create a positive learning environment to enable student success socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and academically.
- Mental Health First Aid
- Mental Health First Aid is a program designed to train select Charles County Public School staff to identify, understand, and respond to mental health and substance use concerns
- Project Graduation
- Sponsored by the Charles County Public Schools, Project Graduation’s focus is to provide a safe, drug-free environment for Charles County Public Schools graduating seniors.
- Safe and Drug Free Schools
- Charles County Public Schools is focused on providing a variety of drug-free and violence-free programs for our students. Some of these programs include;

- Great Body Shop Health Curriculum
- DARE drug prevention program with School Resource Officers
- Just Say No Clubs

Middle School:
