Student Records Coordinator
Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) maintains permanent student records and has changed the transcript request process. CCPS now provides online transcript requests for former students and education verification through Scriborder at https://charlesmd.scriborder.com/. As of Monday, July 27, 2020, CCPS is no longer accepting transcript requests in person, by phone, email or fax.
Payment using Scriborder is through a debit or credit card. Online requests are processed within 10 business days. Requestors will receive email confirmation and updates to their order from firstname.lastname@example.org.
** Please note: per CCPS policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), student record information is only available to those who have authorization from the student or the parent/guardian if the student is under 18 years of age. If the student is 18 or older, school record information will not be released to a parent/guardian without written consent from the student.
Alumni – educational institution – corporation, verification company and government agency requests
Cost for alumni for a high school transcript is $5. Verification of graduation requests are $15 and high school transcripts are $20 for educational institutions and verification companies. Government agencies please reach out to email@example.com for information on requesting graduation verifications or transcripts. Not all corporate requests for education verifications will be delivered by email. High school transcripts require a signed student release to be uploaded during the online ordering process or through the Order Tracker.
Current CCPS students
Any student currently enrolled in the school system who needs a transcript should contact the guidance department at their school. Contact information for each high school is located on page 32 of the Charles County Public Schools Parent Handbook/Calendar. Unofficial transcripts are located in ParentVue and StudentVue accounts, under the documents tab.
CCPS graduates can order a replacement diploma by contacting the guidance department at the high school from which they graduated. There is a fee for replacement diplomas. A list of contacts at each high school is below. Replacement diplomas can arrive anywhere between four to eight weeks after the request is processed. Requests may be delayed due to COVID-19 schedule changes.
