The Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) 8th Annual HITS Expo is set for Saturday, March 9, at St. Charles High School.
HITS — History, Industry, Technology and Science — celebrates the work CCPS students put into science and history projects as well as the study being done in STEM and career and technical education (CTE) classrooms.
Presentations, exhibits and demonstrations will be available from 1 to 5 p.m. in the cafeteria and the surrounding areas of St. Charles with science and history fair projects on display in the gym. The James E. Richmond Science Center will be open with planetarium shows scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. An awards ceremony for fair projects is set for 5:30 p.m.
The date and time of the HITS Expo is subject to change due to the outcome of a scheduled St. Charles basketball game. Check www.ccboe.com prior to Saturday, March 9, for the most up-to-date information on the HITS Expo.
