Due to icy road conditions in Charles County, all Charles County Public schools will open two hours late today, Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022. There is a code two for CCPS staff who follow the code system. There will be no morning prekindergarten classes today.

The Board of Education joint meeting with the Board of Charles County Commissioners set for 9:15 a.m. today will start on time.

While CCPS generally makes inclement weather decisions by 5 a.m., staff monitored road conditions this morning and determined a delay for today was necessary. Visit the school system website at www.ccboe.com.
